Qualitative evaluation of production and testing processes

complex production processes and has been one of the most important competitive

The standard quality analyses of the
iTAC.MES.Suite permit a direct evaluation of manufacturing and testing
processes under quality aspects during production.
The quality situation is described in the required
parameters, such as first pass yield (FPY), yield, ppm error rate etc. To
ascertain fault focus, the TOP-DOWN analysis principle is supported so that
deviations in the processes can be investigated efficiently
and in a targeted manner down to detail level.
The analysis of attributive failure characteristics
and variable measurements in statistical process control (SPC-A and SPC-V) can
be carried out online while the manufacturing process is running.
The analysis can be carried out across any chosen time
period and at a freely configurable level of detail. The quality analyses
of the iTAC.MES.Suite provide the information required for quality management
and the continuous improvement process in close to real time in order to
achieve zero-fault production step by step.
As well as standard quality analysis, the
iTAC.MES.Suite enables flexible and enterprise-specific reporting based on a data
warehouse service. To enable reporting, the
iTAC.MES.Suite offers the integration of the “BIRT” (Business Intelligence and
Reporting Tools) reporting tool from release 6.0. BIRT is an open-source product
which provides reporting and business intelligence functions for Rich Clients
and web applications. It is especially suitable for applications written in
Java or JavaEE. BIRT is a top-level software project from the “Eclipse Foundation", a non-commercial consortium of software companies and the open-source community.
