The PAA is set up at a tester in the iTAC.MES.Suite and remains invisible to the outside at first. The booking of measurement data is carried out via special API functions, which pass the data from the connected tester on to the system. This is where the PAA 2.0 is inserted and analyzes the new measurement data and compares it with existing data.
Only when an anomaly is found when booking the measurement data, the PAA becomes active and, if a booking has been made, a failure is reported via an API function. At the same time, the component is set to rework.
A closer inspection of the anomalous component can
then be carried out. Measurement errors are corrected and dormant defects are
activated. Finally, the components are tested again. If the anomaly is
confirmed, these parts are treated as “not OK”, i.e. treated as scrap. The
number of permitted test runs may be limited with the use of a counter.
Consultation before initial implementation
The PAA supplies important indicators for failure-free manufacturing processes and products. In order to implement the PAA, which is integrated in the iTAC.MES.Suite, in your enterprise, the PAA must be aligned with your respective production process.
