System integration interface / file interface (FINT)

The interface seminars deliver an overview of all integration possibilities for machines with various functions with the aid of a file upload or by using transfer schemas.

The iTAC.MES.Suite offers a wide range of interfaces for individual integration of manufacturing equipment because older machines cannot communicate directly with the MES software.

The information and values sent from the machines are read from the corresponding directories, tested, stored, administered and evaluated by the iTAC.MES.Suite.

The interfaces deployed use different data sources which are generated by the source system and verified with the help of an iTAC.MES.Suite parser. These are then transferred to the database via the application server:

• BOMs can be exported from the ERP system with the help of a BOM import and then imported into the iTAC.MES.Suite.
• Fault notes and measurement data are automatically allocated a serial number from the data system of a tester.
• Only measurement values and status bookings are carried out by the measurement data interface.
• Fault notes are given a serial number and archived in the database.

Furthermore, the iTAC.MES.Suite supports some setup verification systems, i.e. the necessary setup data (container information), information about setup activation and setup changes can be communicated from the machines to the iTAC.MES.Suite.

Owing to the high variety of manufacturing equipment and the different application methods, an exact adjustment to suit the technical surroundings is normally necessary. All parameters which are to be configured are explained exactly during this training and can be completed in agreement with the project leader in future.
