Lear Corporation purchases a company license for iTAC Software's MES suite2008-11-17 17:37:00 Dernbach, Germany 17. November 2008 - The Lear Corporation has expanded its deployment of the iTAC.MES.Suite at its production facility in Kronach and establishing it as the company-wide Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The intention is for the MES solution to control all the automated production lines. Four production lines in real-time operation have already been deployed, with conversion of the remaining lines scheduled.. In 2004, the US automotive supplier installed the iTAC.MES.Suite on one of its Kronach site's production lines as standard software in a safety component production line to satisfy customer requirements of an unbroken traceability chain in the development and production of vehicle electronics. |
