This function carries out a statistical process analysis (SPA) on a given serial number allowing early indication of systematic field failures.
The Cpk value is a key number for evaluating the performance of a process. It specifies how often the defined target (according to the specifications) is achieved and with which frequency this has occurs. The higher the value, the greater the assurance that the whole production is within the specifications. Cp: the Cp value shows the ratio between process control and the defined tolerance. Cpk: the Cpk value also includes the position of the mean with respect to the defined tolerance average.
This function supplies previously interpreted Cp and Cpk values as results and permits classification as to whether the individual item is an outlier or not. The results of this calculation flow into the total results of the PAA.
Although the definition of the PAA 2.0 / PAT only specifies the observation of the Cpk value, the iTAC.MES.Suite additionally calculates and analyzes the Cp value.
