iTAC certified by iTAC Software AG has been awarded the new ISO certification DIN ISO 9001:2008 by DQS GmbH, the German Association for Certification of Management Systems.
The technology and architecture of the iTAC.MES.Suite have been designed to benefit our customers in as many ways as possible.
Platform independence
Scalability
Investment protection Online data availability
Online data availability
Manufacturer neutrality
Central (global) hosting
The MES from iTAC Software AG is a standardized, multi-tier Java application (3-tier) which forms the basis for the platform-independent, manufacturer-neutral technology and modern, online MES system. Different manufacturing sites can be connected centrally to enable a unified, central database.
All business logistics of the iTAC.MES.Suite are located in the application server layer. Process-specific adjustments to the system are carried out via master data customization without requiring additional developments for modifications to the application server.
Machine-specific integration and customer-specific communication are based on a downward-compatible API services.
The technological structure of the iTAC.MES.Suite guarantees a platform-independent, scalable and release-compatible system, and thus fulfills the requirements of an “enterprise application” for central data processing.
Details on the 3-tier architecture
The iTAC.MES.Suite is designed according to a classic 3-tier architecture. In the back-end, there is an Oracle-based relational database management system (RDBMS) (persistency layer). On the server side, there are 1-n servers (application logic layer), which are accessed by the clients (presentation layer).
The clients never directly access the RDBMS, only the functionalities of the application layer. The database is designed as a central data storage system (no de-central databases).
A framework developed by iTAC is used as middleware, which enables communication between server/server and client/server.
This organizes the transport of complex data via interfaces and services (communication layer), communication function calls between the components and establishes transaction security via otherwise independent test systems.
