Material logistics (ML service)

Material logistics enable better planning security. In order to capture the actual material consumption during the manufacturing process, iTAC has developed its own material logistics solution.

The ML service captures the actual use of raw materials and additional materials according to the work step and then transfers this data in consolidated form via the iTAC.MES.Suite to the stock-keeping ERP system.

This results in a great improvement in material- and production planning.
The movement of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products can be traced in detail from the receipt of goods across all production stages through to dispatch, i.e. who processed which product (pre-product, semi-finished and finished products), when and which material in which quantity and lot was used.

With the introduction of the iTAC.MES.Suite, material stock deviations in the ERP can be minimized and the administrative work reduced: manual feedback on production orders is no longer required.

Knowledge of the actual use of materials, even for discarded material in the SMD area, facilitates a reduction in stock and an increase in inventory turnover which in turn enables improved planning security.
